BUSCA is a registered charity and its trustees are responsible in law for the business, finances and processes of the charity. They are also responsible for ensuring that BUSCA fulfils its charitable aims as laid down in its Constitution. Because BUSCA is now a CIO (Charitable Incorporated Organization), trustees are not personally liable for the debts of the organization.
Trustees are elected annually at the AGM at which an Annual Report and Forward Plan are presented to members. There are usually four additional Council meetings.
There are currently 22 Trustees.
