Everyone is welcome to attend. Members can vote in the AGM which will be kept short so that plenty of time can be devoted to reports on the New Community Building, progress with the library and other activities and plans from BUSCA.

There will be opportunities for you to ask questions and give us your ideas for new projects.

Barrow Community Library have arranged an Affinity Savings Account with The Loughborough Building Society. Many volunteers at the library, and users of the library have opened Barrow Community Library savings accounts. This year for the first time, we achieved our target of more than 25 savings accounts open. This has triggered a bonus payment to the library of 1% of the total amount saved in these accounts on 31st March 2018.

The bonus payment is a valuable contribution to the costs of running the library.

Thanks go to all supporters of the library who have opened a savings account. For anyone still wishing to open a Barrow Community Library savings account at The Loughborough, forms are available at the library.

The winner of the recent Barrow Library Quiz is Jeanette Hollis. She receives a £15 voucher for the Little Britain Pub Co.

The quiz was titled "Tree Teasers".

We had 18 answer sheets returned, 3 with all 20 correct answers.

Answers are available in the Library.

Library Volunteers and Users are nearing the target of 25 Barrow Community Library savings accounts at the Loughborough Building Society.

When the target is reached, the Library will receive funding from the Loughborough Building Society every year equivalent to 1% of the total amount saved in the accounts.
